marc jacobs daisy ingredients

When Marc Jacobs Daisy came out in 2007 it was MY fragrance obsession to end all fragrance obsessions. Its like marriage material. Some red lipstick and and a good few sprays of this and you are set. I feel it would've been a more complete fragrance if these notes came through a bit more. I don't normally go for mainstream or uber-popular scents because they're usually overpowering. The effortless charm and youthful elegance of Marc Jacobs Daisy transports you to a place that is optimistic, beautiful and pure. I used to smell it everywhere around 2013-2015. I really liked this perfume when I got it (when it first came out) but over time the fragrance began to get really tiring. This is the scent that made my young palette think I hated floral, I thought it was the most boring scent ever and that floral scents were just grassy smelling, also thought it was outrageous to spend anything over $20 to smell like you rolled down a grassy hill a couple times. A soft, safe fragrance. I always forget how much I love this one. To me, this is the least favored of all of the Mark Jacobs Daisy line. its literally innocence in a bottle. I'm aware that this is a very popular perfume. Very sharp floral scent. I still think it lasts 20-30 minutes max, which is so sad now that I like it! Inoffensive, fresh, and breezy. Daisy was so unexpected when I first tried it that I hated it the most out of all of the in-store testers, probably because it wasn't as sweet and had "fresh" qualities I wasn't familiar with. It smells like the movie midsommar and I cant get enough of it. Fruity/fresh with slight sweetness. This dries down to a musky floral that is really warm on my skin. such a perfect perfume for someone who doesn't want a loud or obnoxious scent, but still wants to have a pleasant scent. I find myself craving this sweet green floral scent once in a while. As I was beginner fragrance lover i liked mostly heady, heavy woody spicy fragrances. Its just so pure and innocent, I couldnt imagine some scandalous girl at the club wearing this or something. But now a decade on, I've really began to adore this violet and vanilla fusion it leaves on my skin. Only keep it for the bottle. Smells like your basic run of the mill hand sanitizer. I received this as a gift in high school. I really don't know what took me so long. It's a classic Alberto Morillas scent, a solid pick for the one fragrance that exemplifies what he's best at. I finally got to give Daisy a proper wear. Not sure Im enjoying the dry down which is much more woodsy. Light leaks in the car driving through a canopy of trees. I liked it but didn't love it. No age really, though it brings to mind a naturally pretty woman, around 30, sitting by her window in a soft, light sweater, on a drizzly spring day. That being said, I'll proceed with the description of the actual scent (according to me): The first time I wore this perfume for work, my boss loved it!!! Nope! Reminds me of D&G Light Blue which is repulsive to my nose with a tinge of strawberry. Moreover, its sillage and lasting power are really weak. It smells like summer breeze in the fields when it's midday and heat kills you, therfore all greenery and blossom have that intensified smell in the air. The bottle is adorable though and I think that made my purchase worth it! I struggle to understand how it gets a spot at department store fragrance counters, let alone how anyone would pay more than $5 for it. It's light, clean. This is a standout but inoffensive enough for daily wear. Now THIS is *perfection*. I smelled this on someone else and it DEFINITELY got my attention. This item is NOT eligible for coupon discounts. My absolute favourite perfume ever! A pretty girl who hides her wild side. Its to cloying. I will definitely be trying daisy very very soon. All the notes are appealing to me but this just didn't work on my skin or on others I've detected using it. If anyone say that this is generic, they can fight me lol. Unfortunately it doesn't really become woody/musky with time, because the longevity is so poor. The sillage is poor and longevity is shocking - it is virtually undetectable within an hour on me. strawberries all over me. This is a superb gorgeous fragrance making one think about the summer fields under the dreamy blue sky. I really had no idea what to expect, and I was pleasantly surprised. It is not offensive in any way, it stays close to the skin. This fragrance truly just smells like sunshine in a bright green grassy field. A very simple, pleasant, floral musk that is not offensive. I think freshly washed clothes is an accurate description. This would normally be a good thing, however not for this perfume! I love this fragrance and wore it for years, still do once in a while, but this is the signature scent of one of my good friends so it's sort of lost the appeal for me. I put Daisy on in the morning, after 2 hours it's gone. Ticks all the boxes. Now it's not a love or hate, just ok spring day scent. God, do I really need to explain this fragrance? Sadly, the scent doesnt last. I wouldn't repurchase. I liked it at first but it does get nauseating quite quickly :(. My body mists last longer than this, which for the price is not worth it! It was in no way an old lady scent on her just sweet goodness that truly enhanced her beauty. This is sweet and friendly. Nor do I want to. This is one of my wife's favorite perfumes for the last 20 years ( she has 30+ frags). A Simple & casual fragrance for carefree days. Not worth the price tag. This was suggested to me as a violet forward perfume, but I didn't get much violet really. It reminds me of a spring day just sitting on a park bench taking up the smells of the Jasmin tree's blooming. I wish it stayed like this the whole time. I bought her a 50ml bottle for Christmas and into March it's already halfway empty. It literally smells like a banana peel to me, with some perfumey florals. I can't wear it anymore because I hate the smell now! I don't wear this often as I prefer more complex perfumes. however, it's still quite nice. Its kind of perfect, very floral and fresh but not too sweet or childish at all, its a very mature floral and leafy kind of scent that I really like. Perfect for those days when you don't want to smell too perfumed but you want something more complex than a soap-y or musk-y fragrance. Cant understand why other thinks it is not unique. Also, I don't really sense anything dark or mysterious about it, but the white wood I think grounds it a little bit, if that makes sense. Either my body chemistry or my preferences have changed, because I now find this above average. This fragrance is so nice, finally got it! spring, summer, and sunshine. It is a beautiful floral citrus scent. But it's pretty boring and reminds me of those drugstore dupe spray fragrances that come in cans. This perfume makes me feel nostalgic. A very musk-like floral scent. I've messed around with some of the flankers, and each of those are good to great, but there is absolutely nothing as sublime as the original here. I like it better when its settled in, more mellow than the initial spray. This fragrance is a little heady/screechy at first, but it smells nice! Fresh, fruity, and a hint of berry. its quite light with a (very) subtle citrus scent and maybe a light, vanilla. The hearts notes are the most apparent but I was disappointed in the lack of vanilla and musk. It is soft, fresh and delicate, perfect for everyday wear. It smells like a spring day. The opening is patchouli but soon it turns bright juicy and clean. I will definitely always keep it on my shelf in spite of the fact that I no longer wear it. THIS is the *perfect* spring scent. Represent a classy urban young woman. I'm sure the sprayer is even better. Lasts decently on me. Top notes are Violet Leaf, Blood Grapefruit and Strawberry; middle notes are Violet, Gardenia and Jasmine; base notes are Musk, White Woods and Vanilla. Even though I like the initial fruit and white flowers blast, I find Daisy too light and too girly to make a statement. Doesn't last on me at all though. Doesn't smell like perfume or anything cosmetic, really. Great for the summer. It fades into a generic pleasant sweet scent and is completely gone after three hours or so. it smells innocent and lovely. Maybe its the grapefuit, which Ive heard tends to smell like sweat to some people, but this smells like stinky grass on my skin. This fragrance smells like a daisy crossed with a strawberry blossom. For whatever reason, sometime last year I decided I needed this back in my life and bought a new bottle. Very refreshing for the first warm days of Spring, and good for the office, but pretty synthetic and mostly a skin scent for a pretty low longevity. Every day. Nice, I would wear, but not buy. It makes me a bit sad because I def. I still think that I'm going to get at least a 50ml because I do like this fragrance. It is VERY strong, a little goes a longggg way. This was my go to scent while I was in my late teens/very early 20s. It smells clean and just the right amount of sweet, and suited her personality perfectly - charming, optimistic, feminine yet laid-back. I think this perfume is safe for blind buy. Then after 30 minutes all of it is gone and I am left with a light musk, tiny bit powdery scent and after an hour at most, it's just a skin scent. This one is so lovely! This fragrance is the girl next door. I wouldn't say that its a very "fun" perfume though. Fancy violet shampoo! Not that long lasting but yet still bearable for humid days. The drydown is beautiful, a soft, gentle musk and vanilla; it is the smell of a gorgeous, expensive soap. Feels bright and happy, with above average performance. There are powdery floral notes along with the soft, sweet, romantic, playful and feminine feel. tbh worthy of the hype smells so nice and floral with a touch of sweetness. I guess it's something that my BF goes crazy about it. I guess strawberry and all those flowers just don't make my day. It didn't last. i like how when I smell this perfume I can smell all the notes individually. pretty and inoffensive but that's about it to me. It lasts forever on me. I ran out and bought it. It's super pleasant and appealing, and not too over the top or 'loud' at all. I get strawberry, maybe the violet leave( if you broke a leave in half and smelled it), tiny bit gardenia, and a little sweet. I am glad I had just travel size. Probably my most hated fragrance to exist but in saying that it isnt my style. It's like a child made it and added way too much sugar. I keep wavering between vaguely enjoying it and finding it unpleasant. I did find that spraying it on my clothes made it last longer. in her life, seems to be really into this one lately. Back in my early 20s, I didnt pay this fragrance any attention. Will keep looking for something we both like though haha. (From a paper Ulta sample that comes in their mailed catalogue): I have used up half the bottle as I received it as a gift. The versatility this fragrance has is unmatched! I reeeeeeeeally wanted to like Daisy but the dry down smells terrible on me. I dislike this perfume for myself but it might be better on others as i know its a very popular perfume. I am glad most have moved on from it. "Nice" is the defining word for this fragrance, I think. Im not sure if Id like sitting next to someone in a hot car while theyre wearing this. I see why this one's so popular. And not in a good way. No grapefruit either, but surely thats where the freshness comes from. Not a very unique scent in my opinion. I get compliments on how good I smell and asked what I'm wearing. Safe. Smells like you just stepped out of the shower. This has what one might call a cute fragrance. friendly and optimistic. I expected better performance. Its iconic, feminine, and pretty, but just not really for me anymore! Something about this one makes me think of pear or unripe banana flesh immediately after spraying on a test strip. So I cant help but think of it fondly. This doesnt smell bad, though! Maybe a combination of something sweet and sharp? average, but pretty- and that's not bad at all. Besides the underlying scent of what smells like banana leaf, which to me helps the scent, Which is why I gave it the 2 stars. I have no issues with Daisy. I first smelled it in a magazine and loved it, but when I actually got the fragrance, it just smelled synthetic and weird on me. It smells like if a fairy made a mixture of grass, sparkling water, Daisy petals, and a drop of strawberry juice outside during a spring day. It's a very classic perfume-sophisticated if you will-but in a very youthful way. Pretty. Smells like banana perfume to me- which is interesting, but isnt pleasant. I took this perfume out after not smelling it the whole winter and oh my God did my nose change. polite and not controversial, a very kind and reliant scent. Soft powdery violet, fizzy grapefruit, and a berry note that is not overly sweet. so, I purchased the big bottle and I remember loving the opening. I didn't find this a very practical perfume overall. Definitely youthful and girly, so if youre looking for something more mature or sexy this definitely isnt for you. remind me of rambutan and orang skin smell in my opinion eau so fresh bit better than this, This reminds me of being a kid and cutting up dandelions, it smells like the inside - dandelion guts. I tend to find myself reaching for it when I'm feeling a little down and need a pick me up. The initial blast is the best: I smell bananas and grass and it's very sweet. Nothing really grabs me about it and I don't think I'd know it was Daisy if I smelled it on someone else. I sprayed it today and yeah I still love the opening. It is a Sun in the bottle. Inoffensive, until it gives me a headache. Bought this in 2018 June in 20ml travel set and mini spray/ Generic pleasant ,soapy clean smell with flowery breeze. Delicate and airy; soft feminine-floral cloud of vanilla and strawberry. This makes me feel grounded, fresh and special always. The perfect office fragrance too as this smells great without being so strong youll annoy anyone elses nosebuds. Great for those who are migraine sensitive, one of the few I've found that has not messed with my head! Online right now: 1,905, Fragrantica in your language: I remember when i first tested Daisy at a duty free Shop, to my untrained nose, it smelled like an out of the shower scent. First, I decided not to buy this but accidentally I got this one on sale. Cute bottle :) For that middle seat (if ever! Nothing to write home about. not just with this but with the others in this line as well. But this perfume will always have a special place in my heart! Daisy was launched in 2007. So if you like strawberries, you should try this one. I'm not so into florals and I was not expecting to like this, but Daisy has a lovely smell. It's nothing offensive but it's super simple. Nice pretty perfume. Fresh & elegant. Immediately a favorite. Anyway, it's cute, it's fresh, sweet, fruity, a bit citrusy but not too much, white flowers are somewhere in the background, definitely not on my taste. But imagine having a wardrobe full of demanding divas, and you want something down to earth. I came on here specifically to see if anyone else said it smells like Johnson & Johnson Baby Shampoo and a few of you mention baby soap! I'm impressed by this! This reminds me of shampoo/conditioner scents, clean hair. My neighbor is a beautiful petite French woman who is in her 90s. That's what finally got me to bite the bullet and get my own bottle of Daisy. On me it smells like anything a 13 year old girl would wear. Reminds me a bit of Gabrielle Chanel, but Gabrielle lasts longer. California Transparency in Supply Chains Act, "Daisy EVSF Event Sweepstakes Terms & Conditions. I would say it's suitable for a young woman, but I hate to put "age appropriate" tags on frags because all my life I loved so called "granny perfumes" and I hate categorising fragrances like that. Went through multiple bottles a year..for years.till, as happens with too much of anything sometimes, I hit a wall with it and our love affair ended. The bottle is pretty but I personally wouldn't buy this. I was frantically trying to rub it off. I know this was a big hit but not my jam. Exactly as described - floral woody musk. Smell Good and Do No Harm: Cruelty-free Fragrance, Jovoys Fire At Will: Vanilla Custard Enriched With Egg Yolks, WPC: Interview With Alexandre Illan, Perfumer of the Rammstein Line and More, Marc Jacobs Daisy Perfume for Women (. something likeable, but not nothing distinct.
